Alhaji Adegboyega Babatunde Adesoye was born on 28 march 1961 to late Alhaji Fasansi Adesoye Onasanya (Balogun of Ijebuland 1951-1961).
Adegboyega Adesoye spent his formative years in Lagos, where he attended Methodist primary Sch in Surulere. He later attended Isoyin Grammar Sch Ogun State. He furthered his education at Abeokuta continuing education centre before travelling to study at Durham Technical Community College North Carolina, USA.
Adegboyega Adesoye joined the ALUMACO Aluminium manufacturing company in 1981 and Moodframes Aluminum Company later that year before establishing his own company, Techlum Nig Ltd in March 1982. State of the art factories have been established in Ogba and Ayobo Lagos, lbadan, Akure in Ondo, Ilorin in Kwara and its operating headquarter in Omotoye Estate, Mulero Agege, Lagos.
Balogun Adesoye is a quiet philanthropist. He is a man of immense benevolence and generosity whose impact has been felt by many families, friends, social clubs, charity organisations, religious groups and various community based organisations.
Balogun Adegboyega Adesoye was a founding member of Egbe Bobagunte Okunrin Akile Ijebu where he holds the much revered title of Balogun Egbe. He is also a member of Rotary Club of Gbagada Lagos and The Lagos Country Club Ikeja. He also belongs to professional bodies like MAN, Aluminium Coaters Association of Nigeria, Hollow Wares Manufacturing Association of Nigeria.
Adegboyega Adesoye is a devout Muslim and married with children.
